RSGB Contest Results 4th 144MHz Backpackers 2021

4th Backpackers Contest

Unlike the last event, the weather was wet and windy with conditions described as poor and flat. While the 2m Low Power contest was on at the same time, the number of entrants for this contest was well down from previous events. From a logging point of view, I know conditions may not be ideal, there was an increased number of errors involved transposing letters in call signs/locators.

Congratulations to all the certificate winners:

5B Section: 1st Place goes to Steve G4TCU/P, 2nd Place is Ben M1MLM/P and Leading Intermediate station goes to Paul 2E0TXT/P.

25H Section: 1st Place and Leading Intermediate station goes to Darrell 2E0VCC/P, 2nd Place is Steve G0EAK/P with Leading Foundation station going to Dean M7CBI/P.

Hope to see and hear you all for the 5th outing on Sunday the 5th September.
